Epic war horn.

Maleventum is a library inspired by medieval forges and Viking horns. We've dedicated ourselves to an in-depth exploration of the cinematic sound of the epic battle horns of ancient Scandinavian and Celtic cultures, from carnix to gjallarhorn to bukkeorn.

We have recorded a large number of original medieval horn instruments, the classic orchestral trombone and tuba, traditional flutes, horn instruments from pastoral traditions from all over Europe and even homemade trumpets and trumpets. All of them have been processed and layered on top of each other to create a collection of epic sounds, hunting horns, war horns, low brass sounds, high trumpets, animal screams and more.

Every sound and every instrument contained in Maleventum instantly conjures up scenes from forgotten dark ages, Viking armies and wars, epic ancient battles, vast icy landscapes, mystical pagan cults and supernatural creatures flying in the wind of the northern forests.

Maleventum is for TV, film and game composers and sound engineers looking for unique and complex sounds to enrich their compositions. It is especially well suited to the epic genre, especially fantasy and dark age films. It will be a very useful tool to inspire horror and thriller composers as well as dark and ambient electronic music producers.
